Victoria Beckham reveals date Christmas ‘fanatic’ David starts playing Elf on the Shelf – and it’s WEEKS before big day.

Victoria also revealed how the couple celebrated David’s knighthood.

DAVID Beckham is such a fan of Christmas that the family decorations start going up in November.

Wife Victoria said former England skipper Becks — nicknamed Golden Balls as a player — particularly liked Elf on the Shelf.

She told TV presenter Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in New York: “Since November 1, elf has been on heavy rotation because my husband is obsessed with anything Christmassy.”

Victoria, 51, also spoke publicly the first time about David’s knighthood last month for services to football and British society. She laughed: “I am Lady Beckham.”

But Victoria continued: “We are so proud of him.

What he has done for sport and his philanthropic work is amazing. It was everything.

We are both so patriotic and so proud to be British. So for David to be knighted by the King meant so much.

“It was a ‘pinch me’ moment. I think the whole country is so proud of him and everything he has achieved.”

Sir David, 50, and Victoria celebrated in Cotswolds pub, The Bull, in Charlbury.

Son Cruz, 20, performed a song he had written and which included the line: “King Charles came to David Beckham and knighted him my man”.

Punters in the boozer joined the revelry and sang along to Oasis and The Rolling Stones songs.

An onlooker said: “The whole pub was cheering and chanting, ‘We love you, Sir David Beckham’. Everyone was in high spirits.”

Victoria, who had nine No1 songs with The Spice Girls, also talked to Jimmy about changing her public image after opening her fashion and beauty business, as documented for a Netflix TV series.

She said: “I was in the Spice Girls for four years and it’s a time I was so proud of. But I was so defined by those years — and I’ve been in the fashion industry for 20 years now.

“I always say dream big, then dream even bigger. Working on this documentary was like a year’s intense therapy. It really was.

“Looking back on my journey has made me feel so proud.

“It has been 20 years of struggle with the fashion business.

“I think I’ve proven that if you work hard and just keep going you can achieve great things.”
