Taylor Fritz reveals how Morgan Riddle has been a big help amid recent rise.

Tennis has been a constant in the life of Taylor Fritz, who has long been recognised as one of the biggest stars in US men’s tennis.

The 27-year-old’s mum, Kathy May, and dad, Guy Fritz, were both tennis players, with May reaching the top 10 of the WTA Rankings back in the late 1970s.

And Fritz has himself forged his impressive career in recent seasons, continually reaching new heights and cementing his place as the leading American male player of his era.

However, outside of his parents, Fritz has found another guiding force in the form of Morgan Riddle, whose relationship with the ATP Tour star has coincided with his biggest successes.

Who is Morgan Riddle?
Born in July 1997, making her just a few months older than Fritz, Riddle was born and raised in Minnesota before studying at Wagner College in New York.

It was during her studies that Riddle first started regularly posting on Instagram and TikTok, and she worked as a model during her college days before working in real estate and as a media director.

Fritz and Riddle met on the dating app Raya in 2020, shortly after the tennis star’s divorce from former pro Raquel Pedraza, with whom he has a son, Jordan.

Once the tennis tour was back in full swing post-COVID in 2021, Riddle started travelling across the globe to support her partner’s career, and she would turn to full-time influencing the following year.

Since then, Riddle has become one of the most recognisable off-court faces in tennis, with a string of high-profile media deals and with 456,000 followers on Instagram.

However, Riddle’s relationship with Fritz has not come without controversy.

At Wimbledon in 2024, she faced scrutiny after posting a TikTok about Fritz winning “for the girls” after the American beat Alexander Zverev, with some believing this was a reference to domestic violence allegations against Zverev.

Riddle denied this was the case, and in March 2025, responded to criticism from some that she was attempting to ‘capitalise’ on her partner’s career.

“I guess people expected me to sit in the box, be relatively private and not capitalize on my partner’s career,” she said.

“And I kind of came in guns blazing. I was like: ‘well, f–k that.’ and posted whatever I wanted to.”

Riddle’s relationship with Fritz has coincided with the most significant moments of his career.

The American has lifted nine of his 10 ATP Tour titles since the beginning of their relationship, including the most significant win of his career at Indian Wells back in 2022.

Fritz was also the runner-up at the 2024 US Open and the 2024 ATP Finals, and is in his first Wimbledon semi-final, having twice previously reached the last eight at the All England Club.

Speaking during his 2025 Wimbledon campaign, Fritz spoke about the positive influence Riddle had had on his career.

“Yeah, I mean, there’s been a pretty constant, I guess, results and ranking rise since we’ve been together,” he said.

“I think I would have to say she’s been a big help to me, just kind of keeping me focused, having someone who cares and just pushes you to just do better and do the right things, be healthier.

“Almost like kind of just mother me in a way with, like, the diet and going to sleep on time. But just having someone to push you in the right direction all the time, supporting you, it helps a lot.

“There’s an obvious correlation between my results and ranking and the time we’ve been together.”
