Tennis legend Steffi Graf recently shared a video of herself taking on her husband, Andre Agassi, in a mixed doubles match.

The clip, posted on her Instagram stories, showed the 22-time Grand Slam champion unleashing a fierce forehand that zipped past Agassi, who couldn’t manage a return.

Graf and Agassi, often celebrated as one of tennis’ most beloved power couples, have shared decades of personal and professional milestones. The duo first crossed paths at Wimbledon in 1992, but their relationship did not blossom until the late ’90s.

They tied the knot in 2001 and have since built a life in Las Vegas with their two children, Jaden and Jaz. Though long retired from competitive play, both remain deeply engaged with tennis through philanthropic ventures and occasional appearances at exhibition events. They’ve also taken up pickleball, playing in legends events together.

Graf recently shared a moment on her Instagram stories, posting a video of herself playing mixed doubles on a clay court alongside former ATP player Justin Gimelstob. In the footage, she was seen delivering a powerful forehand that sailed past her husband, Agassi, who was positioned on the opposite side and couldn’t get to the ball in time.

Their recent match follows Graf’s remarks to the German tabloid Bild in March, where she explained a key factor behind their lasting marriage despite their competitive backgrounds.

“We don’t play against each other. We prefer to be on the same side of the court,” Graf said.

Agassi recently shared how he and his wife, Graf, found renewed excitement through pickleball. On the Bad Calls – Pickleball Podcast, Agassi spoke about how the sport has helped them build new friendships. He credited pickleball for creating a strong sense of community and connection.

“This might say more about me than I care to admit, but me and Steff actually make friends. You know how hard it is to make friends. I’m 55 years old. I mean, it’s sad but true. It’s hard, right? The older you get, the less people in your life, right? But pickle(ball) has actually turned that on its head. It’s like we have people we just enjoy being with. Pickleball court, running into them at dinner somewhere, going out,” Agassi said.

The tennis legends have already shown off their pickleball skills at events like the Pickleball Slam, embracing the game both competitively and socially.

“I think the proximity that you have with each other creates a powerful platform to test yourself in such a personal way, but you don’t feel alone in it. Like you feel connected a lot more to the people you’re playing against than you would ever necessarily feel, maybe on a bigger court, right?”
