WTA 2025 Awards: Gauff, Pegula and Dabrowski recognised for their efforts to tennis while Anisimova rewarded in ‘Coach of the Year’ award.

Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Gabriela Dabrowski have all been recognised by the WTA for their efforts and contributions to tennis and have earned awards for it. Adding to that, Amanda Anisimova’s coach, Hendrik Vleeshouwers, has earned the Coach of the Year Award after the American’s breakout campaign.

The off-season has been a time for rewarding players for their efforts on and off the court, giving them the recognition they deserve. A number of awards have been offered out to a number of players and coaches from numerous categories.
Gauff’s charity efforts

The world number three has been handed the Jerry Diamond ACES Award for her incredible work to “promote women’s tennis to fans, media and local communities by taking part in off-court promotional and charitable activities”.

The two-time Grand Slam champion has built up a positive reputation for being extremely charitable, having done a number of kind acts throughout 2025 which has seen her win this award. Earlier this year she made a very generous donation of $100,000 UNCF (United Negro College Fund) to fund the Coco Gauff Scholarship Program to support HBCU student-athletes who play competitive tennis.
Most recently, in November Gauff surprised a bunch of children at a local tennis clinic in New Orleans East in the United States. The 21-year-old tested the kids skills as she rallied with them on the court at Joe Brown Park. She followed this with a speech as she emphasised the impact tennis had on her life.

Pegula and Dabrowski awarded.

Sticking with the Americans, Pegula was voted by her WTA competitors as she came out on top in the Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award in “recognition of her gracious and considerate manner, support for fair play and respect for her fellow players”.
After a solid year on court where Pegula regularly competed deep in tournaments and challenged the top players on the WTA, she is also known for being a good person and specifically kind behaviour on and off the court.

Dabrowski was also picked out for her acts outside of tennis, receiving the Peachy Kellmeyer Player Service Award for her outstanding support for her fellow players, as well as other initiatives on behalf of the wider player community.
The four-time Grand Slam doubles champion most recently tasted success in the US Open for her second title at Flushing Meadows. She has now won Peachy Kellmeyer Player Service Award on four separate occasions, showing what kind of a person she is. The Canadian won it back in 2019, 2020 and 2022.
