In Gee Chun Winning WITB from the Evian Championship

In Gee Chun delivered a masterclass performance at the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship, capturing her second title at the prestigious major with poise, precision, and a perfectly dialed-in set of clubs. Her winning score of 16-under par was a testament not only to her composure under pressure but also to the finely tuned equipment she trusted throughout the week in Évian-les-Bains, France.

Chun, a three-time major champion before this event, relied on a mixed bag of top-tier gear that supported every aspect of her game. From fairways to greens, her equipment choices reflected her signature style — consistent, controlled, and quietly confident.

At the top of her bag was the Titleist TSR2 driver, giving her the perfect balance of distance and forgiveness off the tee. Backed by a strong fairway game, she also carried the Titleist TSR2+ fairway wood, which helped her attack long par 5s with ease.

Her iron play was equally sharp, using Titleist T100 irons (5-PW) — known for their precise control and clean turf interaction. These irons were instrumental in her approach shots, often landing within birdie range, which gave her the edge over the rest of the field.

Around the greens, Chun trusted her Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges (48°, 52°, 58°), giving her maximum versatility in delicate chip shots and bunker play. Her putter — a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5 — was the silent hero of the week, draining clutch putts, particularly during the back nine on Sunday.

To round it all out, she played the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball, a choice that offered the perfect blend of spin, distance, and feel for her all-around game.

In Gee Chun’s latest win proves once again that in major championships, precision gear and elite-level confidence go hand in hand — and her WITB setup was championship-caliber from top to bottom.
