Taylor Fritz made ‘lazy’ admission over Morgan Riddle relationship after meeting on dating app.

Taylor Fritz has been dating Morgan Riddle since 2020, and the couple have become one of the most high-profile tennis partnerships in the sport.
Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle has become just as much of a fixture in his player’s box as his coaching staff. The world No. 4 began his relationship with the social media star in 2020, and she quickly became a regular presence on the tennis circuit, transforming her experience as a ‘WAG’ into a legitimate career.
Riddle offers followers a behind-the-scenes look at life on the professional tour and provides travel tips from the numerous cities players visit during competitions.
Fritz and Riddle have now opened up about their relationship – and the limitations that come with creating content as a professional tennis player. Though the pair appeared in Netflix’s Break Point documentary series, which aired for two seasons, Riddle has encountered difficulties posting her own videos from the tour.
Despite Riddle building a following of hundreds of thousands on social media platforms, 10-time champion Fritz isn’t as experienced in developing a personal online presence – and he acknowledges there are numerous constraints he encounters, even as one of the sport’s elite players.
“The social media part is something that causes me a good amount of stress, because I’m pretty lazy,” the former US Open finalist told GQ.
“I feel bad about not doing as well as I can on TikTok or posting stories, stuff like that. It’s tough because in order to have really good content, you have to be thinking about it a lot, and putting a good amount of time into that.
“A lot of the tournaments are saying, ‘You either have to have won a Slam or have one or two million followers to even be allowed a videographer on tour’, which I think is absurd. How are you ever going to have a million followers if you don’t have someone capturing decent content to build your brand?”
Fritz isn’t alone in facing restrictions on what he can film at tournaments. Riddle has received penalties for recording her boyfriend’s matches, and is now prohibited from using her vlogging camera while seated in Fritz’s player box.
She said: “I’ve gotten multiple copyright strikes against my account when I post videos of him. In the last three years, the tournaments and the tour have gotten really strict with where you can film and where you can’t. I’m not allowed to have a camera in the box anymore, whereas a couple of years ago, none of those rules were in place.
“The people who make those decisions are thinking one way, and I’m thinking, ‘Okay, think about the fan girls, the people who create memes’. That’s what builds a cult following in a sport. It’s frustrating, and it’s archaic.”
Fritz and Riddle appeared in Break Point, a Drive To Survive-inspired Netflix series that tracked several players throughout the 2022 and 2023 tennis seasons before its eventual cancellation. The show offered viewers an inside look at their relationship, though Riddle hadn’t anticipated being filmed.
“I didn’t know they wanted to use WAGs until they showed up to the hotel room with cameras, and I happened to be there,” she said. “I do think that partners on tour have a big impact, and they’re part of the team, so it’s nice to be recognised for that.”
The 28 year old knew virtually nothing about tennis when she connected with Fritz on exclusive dating app Raya back in 2020. Their first date saw Riddle make Fritz sit through the horror movie Midsommar.
After the tennis circuit got back underway following the Covid shutdown, she began traveling with the world No. 4, and has since taken on the challenge of bringing fresh, younger audiences to the sport, leveraging her social media presence to introduce tennis to an entirely new demographic.
