De Miñaur raises alarms: “I have a hip injury and I am worried”
Alex de Miñaur raised alarms once again. The Australian withdrew from the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) exhibition tournament in Hong Kong due to a hip injury, the same one he suffered last year at Wimbledon which plagued him for the remainder of the 2024 season. “I have a hip injury and I am concerned. It’s the same one I had last year after Wimbledon, which kept me out for a long time. I need to identify the problem, why I still have pain, and then once we sit down with the team and the doctor, we can evaluate what the game plan will be for the rest of the year,” stated the world number 7 to Tennis Major, who is currently doubtful for the ATP Finals.
