Cameron Norrie predicts how far Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz will go at the US Open this year.

The 2025 US Open is now underway and some players already have their first win under their belt.

The likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper have secured first-round victories at Flushing Meadows.

Another player who has commenced his US Open campaign is former British number one Cameron Norrie.

As the 30-year-old aims to have success at the US Open, he shared his thoughts on how far two of his rivals can go in the tournament.

Norrie has entered the US Open for the eighth time in his career as he continues his quest for Grand Slam glory.

The closest he came to winning a major was at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships, when he reached the semi-finals.

After a valiant effort, Norrie was defeated by Novak Djokovic in four sets. Speaking of the Serbian, Norrie told Sky Sports how he thinks Djokovic will do at the US Open.

“He can do well, he is playing very good,” Norrie said. “I think he is going to make the semis or the quarters of the US Open at least.”

The world number 35 also shared his thoughts on how he thinks the American number one Taylor Fritz will do at his home Grand Slam.

“I think he is going to have a very good US Open and hard-court swing,” he added. “I’m going to predict he is going to make the semi-finals of the US Open.”
