Alexander Zverev overcomes Jacob Fearnley to advance to the second round in Vienna.

Alexander Zverev overcame Jacob Fearnley 6-4 1-6 7-6 (8-6) to reach the second round at the Erste Open in Vienna.
Zverev earned his first break in the opening game and held serve at love to open up a 2-0 lead. Fearnley saved five break point in the seventh game to hold serve for 3-4. Zverev served out on his first set point in the 10th game.
Fearnley broke twice in the second and fourth games to win the second set 6-1 forcing the match to the third set.
Zverev earned the only break point of the third set at 5-4. This chance doubled as match point, but Fearnley saved it to hold serve in the 10th game for 5-5. Zverev earned two mini-breaks to race out to a 5-1 lead. Kecmanovic pulled one mini-break back and saved three match point. Zverev sealed the win on his fourth match point. “The tie-break was so close and the whole set was so close. He played unbelievable in important moments. I had match point. He hit a great first serve, a great forehand winner straight away”, said Zverev.
