Before appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the 51-year-old fashion mogul shared a glamorous backstage snap on her Instagram Stories.

In the photo, the former Spice Girl looked incredible in a charcoal grey silk dress and strappy black heels.

Showing off her radiant limbs, Victoria wrote: ‘How it started (That @victoriabeckhambeauty Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator isn’t going to dry itself! And yes, I use it on my body too).’

The Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator comes in three shades and is available on the official Victoria Beckham Beauty website.

During her appearance on the show, Victoria revealed it was her husband David who persuaded her to do her Netflix documentary

The three-part series charted her rise from 90s pop star with the Spice Girls to a successful fashion designer today.

Speaking to Jimmy Victoria admitted she had to be convinced to do the documentary.

‘I said no at the beginning and it was my team who convinced me to do it and my husband who made me do it,’ she said.

‘I was in the Spice Girls for four years and it’s a time I am so proud of, but I was so defined by that four-year period.

‘I’ve been in the fashion industry for twenty years now and it just felt like the right time to reflect and move forward. Working on this documentary was like a year’s intense therapy, it really was.

‘It’s made me feel so proud after all these years of struggle, it’s been 20 years of struggle with the fashion business, it’s a tough, tough industry. I’ve been told no so much my entire life and I’ve worked hard.’

Victoria also discussed her husband David’s Netflix documentary with Jimmy telling her she ‘stole the show’ with the hilarious Rolls Royce clip.

While being interviewed in the documentary, Victoria described her upbringing as ‘working class’ before David appeared and told her to ‘be honest’ and asked her what car her father drove her to school in.

The designer admitted her dad Anthony Adams took her to school in a Rolls-Royce, with the clip going viral at the time of the documentary.

Reflecting on the clip, Victoria insisted she was originally driven to school in a van before her father found success with his business.

‘My dad was an entrepreneur and came from nothing, he inspired me,’ she said.

‘He used to drive a van because he had an electrical business and he would drive us to school in the van and we were happy.

‘But when he did well, the first thing he did was go buy himself a Rolls-Royce. We were devastated. Kids just want to fit in.

‘We used to beg him, “please take us in the van.” So we were keeping it real.’

Victoria also discussed David’s knighthood and said she and their children were ‘so proud’ of him.

‘It was everything, we are both so patriotic and so proud to be British and for David to be knighted by the King, it meant so much. I think the whole country is so proud of him,’ she said.

Elsewhere on the show, Lily Collins had a tearful reaction as she met her idol Victoria for the first time.

Lily teared up as Beckham sat beside her, admitting she copied the singer’s iconic bob haircut.

The segment started out with Fallon asking Collins if she was still in her Posh era, to which she replied, ‘I hope I never leave my Posh era.’

He then pulled up a side-by-side photo of Collins and Beckham striking similar poses, prompting the actress to joke that Posh will ‘always do it better’.

Fallon then shocked Collins as he brought Beckham out, after the star said she’d never met her.

The ladies recreated the pose from the photos, both striking a peace sign, before sharing a hug.

Victoria then complimented Lily on her hairstyle, saying hers was ‘a lot shinier’.

‘No, no, no,’ Victoria replied, adding, ‘Well, thank you, but no, I could never out-shine, no.’

Jimmy then asked Victoria how she got her famous nickname Posh.

‘I’ve always wanted to know that too,’ Lily quipped.

‘Well I was given that nickname because I used to like nice clothes and nice restaurants,’ Victoria replied.

‘In actual fact, it really helped me out because in the Spice Girls, the other girls didn’t like designer clothes. So when we would do videos or go on stage, they were happy to just wear all the free stuff and I got all the budget.’

‘I like how you think,’ Lily said, clearly impressed.
