Amanda Anisimova debuted with a solid victory at the US Open 2025 and talked about how she is approaching this tournament following her excellent performance at Wimbledon 2025, overshadowed by that defeat in the final against Swiatek. “I think a lot about the great tournament I had, and that gives me confidence to achieve something significant here again. I managed to disconnect for a few days after the final and train well to regroup. It was tough to lose the final in that way; I don’t know how I managed to keep my composure because I was feeling really bad. Coming out of the locker room, I was proud of how I handled my frustration. Everything I experienced in London has taught me a lot,” she commented.
