Former World No 1 and Grand Slam winner, Caroline Wozniacki says she still hasn’t made her mind up if she will resume her tennis career after giving birth to her third child.
After making an unexpected comeback in 2023 following a three-year absence, the 34-year old Wozniacki still hasn’t brough down the final curtain on her illustrious career but with her third child set to arrive soon, the summer will be spent welcoming the new family member and not working hard at the Grand Slams.
“I’m currently seven and a half months pregnant so I don’t think you’ll see me at Wimbledon,” Wozniacki said when asked if she’d consider a Wimbledon or US Open wild card.
“I don’t know what the future holds at this point, I’m not sure”, said Wozniacki on Tuesday in an interview in a Zoom call with Hall of Famer Jim Courier to promote TNT’s Roland Garros coverage where Wozniacki stars as one of the key experts.
Wozniacki, who has entered her final trimester with the couple’s third child, will partner up with other other star experts such as Andre Agassi, Boris Becker and Venus Williams for the coverage of the French Open.
Wozniacki has a daughter, Olivia, aged three, and a son, James, aged two, with former NBA star David Lee.
The couple announced the arrival of their third child on April 6.
