Aryna Sabalenka Enjoys Mykonos Getaway with Greek-Brazilian Partner After Wimbledon

Following her Wimbledon semifinal loss to Amanda Anisimova (4-6, 6-4, 4-6), Aryna Sabalenka is making the most of her downtime in Mykonos, Greece.
The tennis star shared an Instagram post captioned, “Selfie, swim, read, repeat,” featuring photos of her relaxing by the sea, soaking up the sun, and enjoying leisure time with her Greek-Brazilian partner, businessman Georgios Frangulis. The post went viral, amassing over 122,000 likes and numerous comments, including blue heart emojis from Frangulis.

Sabalenka recently visited Spilia, a renowned seafood restaurant at Agia Anna in Mykonos, adding a culinary highlight to her vacation. After reflecting on her Wimbledon experience with gratitude, she posted, “Thank you Wimbledon for an exceptional two weeks filled with a wonderful atmosphere and great opponents.

I’m grateful to have been able to compete this year and see you next year.” She also liked posts from Wimbledon champion Iga Świątek during a brief social media break.

At a press conference, Sabalenka opened up about the emotional toll of her loss: “Honestly, losing is awful… But then you sit down for a moment and start analyzing what you could have done differently.” Now, accompanied by her Greek-Brazilian partner, Georgios Frangulis, who is 10 years her senior, she’s embracing a well-deserved break before returning to the court.
