Victoria and David Beckham Reportedly ‘Protecting’ Son Brooklyn Amid Feud, But ‘It Hasn’t Been Easy’

Victoria and David Beckham are taking the high road when it comes to son Brooklyn, Rob Shuter reported in his Naughty But Nice Substack on Friday, January 30.
After Brooklyn confirmed his estrangement from his family in a scathing post on Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19, the Beckhams declined to respond publicly.
“They’re not going negative — yet,” a family source told Shuter. “But trust me, they know everything about this kid. And it hasn’t been easy.”
An insider told Shuter that Brooklyn, 26, had “no steady jobs” and “no real friends” before meeting wife Nicola Peltz, but acted entitled.
“Brooklyn inherited money, access, and power he never earned,” one source said. “That changes a person — especially when no one ever says no.”
“There’s been a lot of bad — very bad — behavior the family quietly covered up for years,” the insider added.
For now, the fashion designer, 51, and the soccer legend, 50, are “protecting him — and the brand,” a friend told Shuter. “But don’t confuse silence with innocence.”
