The 2022 edition of the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue will be out later this spring. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit released a new behind-the-scenes video of a photoshoot on Wednesday afternoon.
Over the years, several notable athletes have posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
From Alex Morgan to Danica Patrick to Ronda Rousey to Serena Williams, several big-time athletes and sports figures have taken part in the magazine edition.
Anna Kournikova is among those who have posed.
Kournikova, a Russia native, became one of the most-popular tennis players in the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She made a semifinals run at Wimbledon that catapulted her into tennis fame – both on and off the court.
In 2004, Kournikova joined the list of notable tennis players to pose for the issue.
