PARIS, France—Watch out, WTA girls—Mirra Andreeva is raiding everyone’s closet at Roland Garros.
The No. 6 seed stepped onto court for her fourth-round match against good friend and No. 17 seed Daria Kasatkina wearing a long bordeaux-red pleated skirt—the same one that Zheng Qinwen revealed to the Tennis Channel that she’s been ‘too shy’ to wear herself.

And after sealing the 6-3, 7-5 win over Kasatkina on Monday afternoon, Andreeva gained another accessory: Her opponent’s sweaty wristband, after Kasatkina lobbed it in her direction before they exchanged a hug at the net.
“I kind of had a feeling that after the match she’s gonna do something like this!” Andreeva said in her post-match press conference.
“I knew that if I would lose, I would also do something funny to kind of relax a bit the atmosphere and not have this tension and pressure around us.”
With Kasatkina sponsored by Adidas and Andreeva outfitted by Nike, it’s unlikely the black wristband will see any on-court action—but it’s definitely not going anywhere.
“I kept the wristband, so it’s gonna be in my bag for now,” Andreeva said with a cheeky grin.
Andreeva was also spotted wearing a piece from No. 10 seed Badosa’s new “Aces” jewelry collection with The 1916 Company, which launched last month. In fact, both players stopped by the Tennis Channel set this week sporting the same 18-karat gold tennis racquet-shaped Alma Gold and Diamond Drop Earrings—which feature a sparkling diamond “ball” on the strings and a removable diamond chain.
“Aryna (Sabalenka) is going to wear the earrings, and Mirra is wearing them on the matches too!” Badosa told host Prakash Amritraj. “She’s looking amazing. Stunning!”
Armed with all the right accessories—and her unstoppable game—Andreeva has powered her way into the Roland Garros quarterfinals for the second year in a row, this time without dropping a set.
