Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves failed in their bids to earn a PDC Tour Card at Q-School; Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King and John Henderson also among big names who missed out; watch Premier League Darts every Thursday from February 6, live on Sky Sports
Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves were among the high-profile names who failed to earn a PDC Tour Card at Q-School in Milton Keynes on Sunday.
Sherrock fell to a second-round 6-1 defeat at the hands of James Beeton as her final opportunity to secure access to PDC tournaments for the next two years passed her by.
Greaves fared a little better than Sherrock, thrashing Ted Evetts 6-0 in the second round, before a tightly contested 6-5 defeat to Carl Sneyd saw her eliminated.
Simon Whitlock, World Championship runner-up in 2010, suffered a similar fate, with his hopes of securing a Tour Card dashed by a 6-3 defeat to Tom Sykes in the first round.
Former world No 4 Mervyn King and three-time world senior darts major winner John Henderson also failed to secure Tour Cards.
