Taylor Fritz: “I have a son that I don’t get to see near as much as I’d like”.

Taylor Fritz is required to travel across the globe constantly to actively compete on the ATP Tour. Thus, the 27-year-old is unable to spend sufficient quality time with his loved ones, especially Jordan, his son, who’s seven years old.

In Netflix’s documentary BreakPoint, the tennis pro expressed regret at not being able to stay close to his son for enough time.

“I have a son that I don’t get to see near as much as I’d like,” he said. “As it stands right now, I just have to try to see him as much as I possibly can.”

He further wished for Jordan to realize the sacrifices he made to reach the top echelons of the tennis world.

“I just hope as he gets older he understands what I’m doing, and understands what I’m trying to do,” he added.
Taylor Fritz has been a Top 10 player for the last couple of years but he touched greater heights this season, reaching his first-ever Grand Slam final at the US Open in September. In November, he qualified for the ATP Finals summit clash and rose to a career-high ranking of World No. 4.

He notably lost both the finals to Italy’s Jannik Sinner.
